Random Thought: #341 - “Why Russia?”

I’m curious as to why are we being encouraged to treat Russia as some sort of boogeyman. Not just Putin, who is a boogeyman of sorts, but we’re supposed to suspect and distance ourselves from the Russian people and all things Russian. Why is that?

When Amercian was in a “War Against Terrorism”, we constantly instructed to target our anger to a few select individuals, maybe an Ayatollah or two, not all of Islam or Islamic country. Politicians and political pundits kept reminding us that Islam was “A Religion of Peace” and we shouldn’t jump to conclusions, even after a truck would mow down dozens as the driver yelled “Allahu Akbar!”. All due deference was given to Islam, radical or not.

Where is that same restraint for the Russian people?

Banks have help to devalue the Russian ruble, countries are closing international airspace to Russian airlines, and closing ports to their ships. Russian artists and performers are being barred from work, Russian cats, YES CATS are being barred from competition and the Methane brained, banger of Chinese spies Eric Swalwell wants all Russian students expelled and sent home to “Mother Russia”, or Siberia I suppose. Swalwell is both vicious and vacuous.

So why are all Americans being encouraged to act like Swalwell? Putin is a bad guy but not all of Russia is, and wasting Vodka isn’t hurting him or his billions of dollars anyway. All we are doing is making enemies of the Russian people and maybe galvanizing them against America.

The great Russia Scare campaign has been going on for years. It was used to tie up Trump’s presidency and it was all discovered to be a hoax by Hillary. When are we going to stop and ask questions as to why are the establishment is so eager to punish the people instead of Putin?

Our Russia hatred didn’t stop the Biden family from taking money from Putin connected Russians. Neither did it stop the Clinton Foundation from taking “donations” from Russians businessmen. So why are Americans so ready to be taken as suckers by the same people who want to keep us in a constant state of fear and hatred?

We were just released from Lockdown, and threatened with mandates, now they’re immediately pushing us into a fight? We’re acting like we’re their pets, easily distracted, ready to please master and show him who can be the most loyal and obedient. We need to stop, gather our thoughts, catch our breath and start asking questions of the establishment before we’re herded off to the next “crisis”.
